You Can Have Beautiful Hair

Are you looking to have vibrant, shiny, thick, healthy hair? Try some of these ideas to nourish your body and strengthen your hair. To make a real difference, we need to approach the problem both internally and externally!

We need to nourish the body on the inside with vitamins, minerals, and proteins needed to stimulate healthy hair growth. When the body is undernourished, it uses nutrients in the most critical places – think lifesaving organs and glands. Anything non-essential, like your hair, doesn’t receive nutrition.

Is your hair starving? Feed it, with the Hair Renew formula from Terry Naturally. It contains Vitamins A, E, B2, B6, Folate, Biotin, B5, Zinc, Millet Seed Oil, Horsetail, L-Cysteine, and L-Methionine. B vitamins provide the building blocks for healthy hair. Millet stimulates cell proliferation and tissue regeneration. Horsetail is a plant source of silica. Biotin helps the body to use the amino acids, which are essential for the formation of keratin.

Another favorite formula is HSN-W from Nature’s Sunshine. It contains four simple herbal ingredients to nourish your hair, skin, and nails. Horsetail is very high in silica, which is essential for the formation of collagen and elastin. Dulse is a seaweed rich in vitamins, minerals, including calcium and silica. Also high in iodine, supporting the thyroid gland – which may be associated with thinning hair. Rosemary promotes hair growth by increasing the blood flow to the air roots and scalp. It has often been linked to brain health and memory as well. Sage provides antibacterial, antiviral, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory benefits to the skin. It is high in minerals, including calcium and silica.

One other supplement to consider for healthy hair is collagen. Which is a protein used to build and repair the body – both skin, hair, and joints. This supplement is available in powders, gummies, and capsules. We even have it in a delicious jelly that you can put on your toast!

Now that you have nutritionally focused on feeding the body, what can you do externally to support vibrant hair? First, remove harsh chemicals. Hair dyes and hair styling products are very hard on your hair. Switch them out for more natural choices. High heat of curling/straightening irons and hair dryers can take a toll too. Go natural, take a sabbatical from styling for a while.

We carry several more natural choices for your hair products. The best seller is our Shampoo Bars from Wild Carrot. These come in four herbal varieties with two bars in each box. Customers are loving them! Plus, no plastic in the packaging. We also carry Olivella shampoo and conditioner or Biotin shampoo and conditioner from MillCreek Botanicals. Did you know that natural hair spray or styling products are available too?

Reduce the amount of chemicals in your life by using more natural products in your daily routine.
