A Taste of Fall

In the midst of fall everyone needs that warm and cozy feeling, as well as a pick me up with what the cold weather brings.

Join us for “Food as Medicine” squash soup, Focaccia bread and bingo. Learn about the simple herbs that heal and how easy it is to incorporate them into our cooking. We will be making our own immune boosting tea and herbal hot chocolate to bring some of the warmth home. Taught by Kyla Smith.

Cost is $45. Registration deadline is October 19 th , call 740-689-1111.

About Kyla: My name is Kyla Smith, and I have loved herbs for as long as I can remember. I have recently started school at the Trinity School of Natural Health to earn my certification as a Master Herbalist. I have also been given the amazing opportunity to intern with Lisa Purdy ND, MH at her wonderful shop Healthy Life Solutions. With Lisa to guide me, I am always learning an abundance of informational things to help my family and I thrive. Having a large family, including young children I find that being able to sneak those simple yet useful herbs into the meals I cook is my go-to for keeping my family healthy and happy. I am excited to be able to share some of these herbs that I love and their uses, with you!
